Individual Counseling (age 18+)
I provide 53 minute individual therapy sessions for adults. I seek to create a space that is safe for you to come and explore what is happening in your life. I think we often benefit from speaking to someone who can help us gain a fresh perspective while maintaining focus on growth and compassion towards ourselves. I believe lasting change comes through consistency and kindness.
Fees
Each session requires a $135.00 payment due at time of appointment for cash pay clients. I am INN with Premera and First Choice Health Network and charge $150.00 per session when billing insurance. I can also provide a superbill for you to seek reimbursement for out of network providers.
20 Minute Consultation
I provide a free 20 minute telehealth consultation before starting treatment to ensure that I am able to meet your counseling needs. This allows both of us the opportunity to see if this will be a good fit and discuss what you are hoping for.
Missed/Cancelled Appointments
All appointments must be cancelled at minimum of 24 hrs before session. Any late cancellations or missed appointments will result in being charged the full fee for the session, with the exception of illness or emergency. Please contact me by email or through the portal to cancel appointments.
Telehealth / Location
I offer telehealth services for individuals living in Washington state. I also provide in person sessions for those who prefer it and live near Bellingham.
No Surprises Act
Beginning in 2022 under the federal No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services.
Clients will receive an estimate for services upon request or when starting treatment.
